ATLANTA & CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 6, 2018 — Hall Booth Smith, P.C. has added new attorneys at its offices in Atlanta and Charlotte, North Carolina, as the firm continues to grow its litigation practice across the Southeast.
Sheila K. Kazemian is an associate in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, focused on medical malpractice defense; energy, regulatory, and utilities; insurance coverage; and government relations. Earlier in her career, Kazemian interned for the Georgia Hospital Association during the legislative session and worked for lobbying groups focused on representing physicians and specialists. In addition, Kazemian worked as a legislative intern for Hall Booth Smith, interned for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit of the Georgia Attorney General's Office, and worked as an extern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of General Counsel. She also served as a legislative aide for the Georgia General Assembly and worked as a legal intern for the Georgia Governor’s Office. She received her Juris Doctor and Masters of Science in Health Administration from Georgia State University College of Law and College of Business. She completed her undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in economics at Georgia State University with honors. 
Danielle Hall is an associate in the Charlotte office of Hall Booth Smith with a growing practice focused on alcohol beverage law, data privacy and security, intellectual property, general liability, professional negligence and medical malpractice. Prior to joining HBS, Hall spent five years as General Counsel for a wine import and distribution company where she worked with all three tiers of the industry on business formation; contract negotiations including importation agreements, distribution agreements and leases; state and federal licensing; Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and Certificate of Label Approval (COLA); brand registrations  and trademark protection. Earlier in her career, Hall worked for an AMLAW 200 firm where she represented one of the major university-affiliated teaching hospitals in New York City and represented healthcare providers and insurance companies in litigation involving claims of professional negligence and general liability. Hall received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was named the 2004 winner of the 1L Moot Court Competition. She also holds a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business.
