Byron K. Lindberg joined the firm's Nashville office in December of 2006. He specializes in defending transportation, workers' compensation, professional negligence and general liability matters throughout the state of Tennessee. Before joining the firm, Mr. Lindberg practiced with Feeney & Murray, in Nashville, successfully defending clients in workers' compensation matters in hearings, mediations, trials and on appeal. Mr. Lindberg zealously represents the interests of his clients in obtaining favorable resolutions through mediation and at the trial level. Mr. Lindberg has extensive trial experience, both bench and jury and has argued several appeals. Mr. Lindberg served two terms as Law Clerk to the Honorable Chancellor Ellen Hobbs Lyle in the Chancery Court for Davidson County, Tennessee. Chancellor Lyle imparted a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and, above all else, integrity to Mr. Lindberg's practice of this honorable profession. Since leaving his clerkship, Mr. Lindberg has drawn on that experience to pursue excellence and integrity in representing his clients. When not practicing law, Mr. Lindberg enjoys golf, basketball, softball, woodworking, writing music and spending time with his wife and two children.

Mr. Lindberg has successfully represented contractors and subcontractors in a variety of cases involving building structure defects, moisture intrusion, and sedimentation and erosion.


Mr. Lindberg's medical and transactional experience comes together in his successful representation of dental practices. Mr. Lindberg's expertise in providing sound legal advice in the day to day legal matters encountered in a dental practice are well recognized. Matters involving patient consent forms, lease agreements, independent contractor arrangements, landlord tenant issues, as well as all health care related issues encountered in dental practice including liability issues and claims of professional negligence.


Mr. Lindberg has represented clients in Title VII claims and has defended wrongful termination claims in the workers' compensation setting.

Mr. Lindberg has mediation and trial experience defending personal injury cases ranging from premises liability - slip and fall to automobile liability.

Intellectual Property / Entertainment

Mr. Lindberg has extensive transactional and litigation experience regarding copyright, architectural copyright, trademark and entertainment law. Mr. Lindberg's experience in the entertainment industry as a musician, editor and songwriter provides the foundation for his practice and serves as a conduit that fosters more productive representation of his clients.

Professional Malpractice and Ethics

Mr. Lindberg represents attorneys in legal malpractice claims ranging from bankruptcy issues to workers' compensation matters to alleged attorney fraud. He has specialized experience in representing attorneys in cases involving underlying workers' compensation claims. Mr. Lindberg recently obtained successful summary judgments for several clients.

Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice

Mr. Lindberg has successfully represented dentists and other medical care providers in professional negligence lawsuits involving wrongful death, negligent care and treatment and misdiagnosis.


Mr. Lindberg defends clients in both motor vehicle accidents and common carrier incidents.  Mr. Lindberg utilizes his knowledge of liability, coverage, and underinsured/uninsured motorist issues to advocate his clients' success in trial and mediation.

Workers’ Compensation

Mr. Lindberg has extensive experience defending employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters. In addition to vigorously representing his clients' interest at the administration level, he provides his clients zealous trial and appellate advocacy. Mr. Lindberg strives to provide his clients positive outcomes and has enjoyed considerable success in trial and at the appellate level. Mr. Lindberg diligently pursues the most efficient and beneficial outcome for his clients.
