Robert L. Williams has represented hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and other healthcare providers and insurers in the defense of professional liability claims since 1981. His litigation practice also encompasses other professional liability matters, surplus lines and reinsurance matters, and the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims. Active in the defense and healthcare liability bar, he is a frequent speaker on medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death litigation. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute, among others. 
A graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Williams holds a master's degree in psychology and taught psychology at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia before beginning his law practice. He is also an accomplished photographer and licensed Realtor®.
