Brown Moseley joined Hall Booth Smith after serving as elected District Attorney for the South Georgia Judicial Circuit. In twenty-five years as a prosecutor, Mr. Moseley has tried more than 250 cases in five counties. He was named "District Attorney of the Year" in 1995 and received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2004. Mr. Moseley served on the Georgia Prosecuting Attorney's Council and has served one term on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors.
Brown Moseley's experience as District Attorney as well as his term on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors has enhanced his personal understanding of the laws of the state of Georgia. Brown Moseley advises governmental entities and officials regarding various claims including allegations of sexual harassment, racial discrimination, law enforcement issues, wrongful arrest, as well as search and seizure claims including wrongful arrest and violation of property rights.
