Danielle Hall is an associate in our Charlotte office with a growing practice focused on alcohol beverage law, data privacy and security, intellectual property, general liability, and professional negligence / medical malpractice.
Prior to joining HBS, Ms. Hall spent five years as General Counsel for a wine import and distribution company. Ms. Hall focuses her practice on matters relating to federal, state and local laws governing the sale, distribution, importation, manufacturing and marketing of alcoholic beverages, including beer, wine and spirits. Ms. Hall can assist all three tiers of the industry with business formation, contract negotiations (i.e. importation agreements, distribution agreements and leases), state and federal licensing, TTB and COLA approval, brand registrations and trademark protection.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Hall worked for an AMLAW 200 firm where she represented one of the major university-affiliated teaching hospitals in New York City as well as representing healthcare providers, and insurance companies in litigation involving claims of professional negligence and general liability. She has extensive experience conducting depositions, preparing discovery demands and discovery responses for trial and independently handling arbitrations, mediations and settlements of cases.
Ms. Hall received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was named the 2004 winner of the 1L Moot Court Competition. She also holds a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in management from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. While there, Ms. Hall was awarded the National Society of Collegiate Scholars Award and was named to the Dean's list.
In her free time, Ms. Hall enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her husband and two children.
