Sarah Pazar Williams is an associate in the HBS Memphis office. She has diverse experience practicing health care liability, medical malpractice, nursing home and long term care defense litigation. She also has experience defending corporate clients involving personal injury, premises liability, contract issues, and insurance coverage. Ms. Williams was recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court as an Attorney for Justice in 2014 and 2015 and has served as the Chair of the Young Lawyer Committee with the Memphis Area Legal Services' Campaign for Equal Justice since 2014.
Ms. Williams received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University with a double major in Psychology and Communication Studies. Before starting law school, she worked in Chicago with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer planning and executing events raising money for cancer treatment and research. Ms. Williams then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School. While in law school, Ms. Williams served as the Chief Justice of the Vanderbilt Moot Court Board and worked as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Jon P. McCalla and Magistrate Judge Charmiane G. Claxton, both of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee.
