Blake A. McLemore is an associate in our Columbus office specializing in professional negligence and medical malpractice, insurance coverage, corporate and partnership, transactional, and business litigation matters.
Mr. McLemore earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia after completing a Bachelors of Business Administration, summa cum laude, in business management at the University of West Georgia.
During law school, Mr. McLemore was an articles editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, the recruitment chair of the University of Georgia Law School's Business Negotiations Competition Team, and a member of the Student Bar Association, the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, and Business Law Society.
Mr. McLemore spent his summers during law school working for Hall Booth Smith as part of the summer associate program and volunteered a semester of his time working as part of the University of Georgia Law School's Business Law Clinic, where he assisted small businesses in drafting operating agreements, selecting entity structures, establishing corporation and limited liability companies, and handling other business startup issues.
Earlier in his career, Mr. McLemore worked as a medical records staff member at a local law firm in Athens, Georgia where he assisted Plaintiff's attorneys with class action litigation preparation in medical malpractice device cases.
