A native of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky, Ms. Boone practices in all areas of professional negligence and medical malpractice defense, as well as premises liability, probate, estate planning and administration, fiduciary law, and general civil litigation. She is licensed in both Georgia and Tennessee and practices actively in both states. In addition to professional and medical malpractice lawsuits, Ms. Boone has served as counsel in various civil litigation matters ranging from automobile accidents, “slip and fall” actions, breach of contract, real estate matters and general business litigation.

Practice Areas

Correctional Health Care

As the Practice Group Leader, Ms. Boone has experience in representing both correctional health care companies and individually named professionals in litigation as varied as pro se inmate pleadings to professional negligence and federal civil right claims. Specifically, Ms. Boone’s representation has included claims involving total healthcare, including mental health, dental and medical actions. She has represented such individuals and entities servicing local, state and federal facilities in both Georgia and Tennessee, and actively practices in both states.


Ms. Boone represents professionals such as physicians, nurses, ophthalmologists, dentists, and attorneys in a variety of matters including professional negligence, malpractice, and state board licensing complaints. She is also experienced with defending physician practices/professional entities and facilities such as hospitals and long-term care institutions in professional negligence matters. Ms. Boone has successfully defended and favorably resolved matters for dentists and their practice groups throughout southeastern Georgia. Her legal, dental and health care professional defense experience includes issues ranging from informal investigations to full board hearings and malpractice litigation.


Ms. Boone is committed to helping employers avoid, resolve and prevail in employment disputes involving the full range of employment and labor issues. This includes litigation in state and federal courts and the representation of employers before administrative agencies over claims including: discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodation, and state torts such as negligent supervision and hiring, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, defamation, invasion of privacy, and wrongful discharge allegations.

Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice

Ms. Boone has successfully represented doctors, hospitals, nurses, and nursing homes in medical malpractice cases. She strives to defend each client with the utmost professionalism and her representation includes litigation, licensing and some regulatory matters. 

Retail and Hospitality

Partner Beth Boone has extensive experience in retail and hospitality industry claims, ranging from pre-suit investigations to trials. Her experience ranges from matters as varied as slip and falls to premises liability actions. She has successfully defended grocery stores, hotels, and restaurants in litigation involving a wide variety of issues.

Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning & Administration

Ms. Boone has extensive experience with minor and adult guardianships and conservatorships, representing both petitioners and potential wards. Ms. Boone has litigated extensively in this area, assisting clients not only in the protection of assets, but also in assisting with support, care, health and welfare issues. She has also consulted, planned and served in an advisory capacity to numerous clients in regards to advanced health care directives, living wills, and various elder law issues.

Ms. Boone has extensive experience in representing personal representatives with their fiduciary duties, as well as representing the interests of both minor and adult beneficiaries in taxable and nontaxable estates. Ms. Boone also has personally served as fiduciary in numerous trusts and estates involving millions of dollars of assets. She has also litigated many matters involving breach of fiduciary duties, from both the plaintiff and defense sides. Additionally, she has consulted, planned and served in an advisory capacity to numerous clients in regards to wills and other estate planning issues.
