Sandro Stojanovic is an associate in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. He received his B.A. in International Studies from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. Mr. Stojanovic received a CALI award for the highest grade in his Legal Writing class and was a member of the International Law Students Association. While at UGA, Mr. Stojanovic was the President of the International Affairs Council, where he was responsible for arranging multiple speaking engagements with international policy experts and diplomats.
With over six years in the legal field, Mr. Stojanovic has assisted with approximately 50 litigation cases involving medical malpractice. He has case experience with professional negligence, dental, labor and delivery, long-term care, physical therapy, contract disputes and immigration matters. Mr. Stojanovic's day-to-day practice will be enhanced by his expertise with drafting pleadings, trial preparation and trial proceedings.
Mr. Stojanovic is the President of the Georgia Handball Club, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of team handball in the State of Georgia.
Sandro has experience in handling the litigation involving business ownership and validity of the operating agreements.
In his dental practice, Sandro regularly defends professionals in malpractice and negligence civil suits and claims, and professionals appearing before the Georgia Board of Dentistry for patient/consumer complaints, regulatory compliance, license renewals, and other licensing issues.
Sandro handles and represents insureds through all phases of liability litigation, including motion practice, hearings, summary adjudication, trials and appeals. Sandro represents the interests of insureds in general liability and premises liability, involving claims of sexual harassment, false imprisonment, and slip and falls.
Sandro’s practice is also focused on business immigration and family-based immigration. Being able to speak 5 different languages, he will be able to assist many clients in ensuring that their employment practices comply with all business immigration-related requirements. Mr. Stojanovic’s practice includes family-based immigration, more specifically visas, permanent residence applications, and citizenship.
Sandro represents manufacturers involved in products liability litigation with claims of property damage.
Sandro represents medical professionals, including hospitals, physicians, chiropractors, nurses, licensed technicians, and other licensed personnel in medical malpractice litigation throughout Georgia. His experience includes litigation relating to claims of wrongful death, negligent misdiagnosis, birth trauma, and claims of alleged negligent care and treatment of patients.
Sandro has a background in commercial real estate and can provide representation for commercial landlords in dealing with commercial dispossessories, evictions, negotiations, lease litigation, and appeals.
