Anthony Stewart is an attorney in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith. He earned his Doctor of Law degree from Emory University School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Anthony clerked for the Honorable Richard Story with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and for the Honorable Jason Deal in Hall County Superior Court. Prior to law school, Anthony worked as a legal assistant at the Hall County District Attorney's Office.
Anthony has extensive practical experience in the healthcare setting, which greatly benefits the clients he represents in the Medical Malpractice and Dental practice groups. Anthony has over ten years' experience working in healthcare, and he has been licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician since 2005. During law school, he worked as a supervisor at Emory University Emergency Medical Services and was appointed to a one-year term as Chief of Planning and Development in 2011.
Anthony also utilizes this medical knowledge in assessing and successfully defending numerous general liability claims. Anthony represents municipalities, corporations, airports, business owners, hospitals, retail stores, restaurants, homeowners and other owners and occupiers of land in different types of premises liability actions where injuries range from minor soft tissue injury to neurologic impairment or death. Anthony's extensive medical background provides his clients with this unique perspective in evaluating legal claims and identifying malingering claimants.
